The theme: Seeing the Invisible
We are inviting participants to reflect on what is not visible, yet produces tangible results. Art itself consists of seeing what cannot be seen, or what cannot be seen yet. For Terna, the world of the invisible includes electricity and, increasingly, the infrastructure which transmits it.
Deadlines
7 March/30 June: registrations; July/September: selection and announcement of finalists; 24 September: announcement and award ceremony for winners, inauguration and opening of the Exhibition; 24 September/12 October: Exhibition open to the public (free entry).
The prizes
Senior Award, Youth Award, and Terna’s Highest Voted Work.
We’re reaffirming our commitment to showcasing young talents in the sector and in the academies, which is why the two new awards included in the 2023 competition will feature again this year: the Amateur Award, for non-professionals, and the Art Academy Special Commendation, for students enrolled in a higher education institute studying in a field relevant to the Award.
