What does Contemporary Normality mean?
When it comes to the energy transition, everything is up for discussion and is constantly evolving: what we produce, how we work, what we eat, what we grow. The world today asks us to embrace a new normality, one which consolidates lifestyles that are more effective and able to face the challenges posed by the energy transition. Based on this concept, we are inviting photographers to offer their reflection on the broader topic of normality in the contemporary world.
Commendation 3
Awarded to the photograph that the Panel believes best interprets the theme Circularity. Ever-recurring cycles.
Cash prize: € 2.000
Display of your work:

- in other major European exhibitions in 2023 (judged by the Panel and the Curator).
What does Circularity. Ever-recurring cycles mean?
The energy transition demands that our economy goes through a paradigm shift, changing from a linear model to a circular model. Today, sustainable business simply cannot turn its back on circular practices: reusing materials, reducing waste, protecting the landscape, using eco-sustainable materials, and embracing a plastic-free approach, separated waste collection and advanced waste disposal techniques. Based on this concept, we are inviting photographers to offer their reflection on the “philosophy of circularity”.
