Photographs, landscapes and visions 1842-2022. The Alinari and Mufoco Collections
The exhibition presents a wide selection of images from the archives and collections of the Fondazione Alinari per la Fotografia and the Mufoco – Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea, covering an extremely wide time span: from the beginnings of landscape photography to the contemporary. By means of a chronological progression of techniques, languages and visions, the exhibition allows us to retrace the evolution of the ways of representing the Bel Paese, appreciating its beauty that has long made it a model and also measuring its contradictions.
Among the many creators on display are some of the finalists for the Driving Energy Award 2022: Olivo Barbieri, Antonio Biasiucci, Andrea Botto, Luca Campigotto, Stefano Graziani.
