The theme of this year’s Award, ‘In praise of balance’, inspired a multi-voiced academic discussion involving many Academy students gathered in the Napoleonic Hall.

Speakers on behalf of the Academy were Stefano Pizzi, Head of External Relations, Cosmo Laera, Director of the School of New Technologies of Art, Eva Frapiccini Professor of Photography. Speaking on behalf of Terna were Michele Gaudenzi, Head of Advertising, Brand Image and TernaCult, and Lorenza Bravetta, Photography Consultant and Curator of Photography, Cinema and New Media at La Triennale di Milano, who this year is serving as President of the Jury.
